The Expert Witness Courtroom Testimony committee, in conjunction with the NCIAAI Officers and Board of Directors, is attempting to determine the viability of holding the Expert Witness Courtroom Testimony Course in Brevard NC on November 13-15 , 2024. If you are interested in this course and meet the minimum IAAI prerequisites please complete the application form and forward it to Donel Braxton at dbraxton@nefco.net no later that the close of business on Friday September 13, 2024.
IAAI Minimum Prerequites
The candidate must meet all the requirements for IAAI-CFI® with exception of courtroom testimony which includes but is not limited to:
- 4 Years Full time or 5 Years Part time experience
- Performed as the lead investigator on a minimum of 7 fire scenes
- Conducted a minimum of 12 fire scene examinations per year or 60 in five
- years.
Additionally, the candidate should consider when gauging their interest / availability for the course that 30-40 hours of work assignments with strict due dates and exhibit preparation is required prior to the first day of class.
