Corporal Darren Poe of the Burlington, NC Police Department was awarded
the 2008 North Carolina Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators Membership Scholarship. Darren recently took a job with the
NC Division of Motor Vehicles as an Investigator. Darren is continuing his educational studies at Guilford College in the study of Forensic Biology. Darren was awarded $750 to assist him in his continuing educational endeavors. We wish Darren continued success in his new employment and educational studies.
